We’ve heard such praise about ProfitX. Dealers are raving about the wealth of information they took home during the two-and-a-half days of information-packed sessions. Sponsors and exhibitors are excited about some of the connections they’ve made – both with dealers and other vendors. The speakers were impressed with the interaction and eagerness from attendees. And other industry attendees are also excited about the education they received and the relationships they formed during the event.
All in all, ProfitX was a great success! Not only did dealers get to listen, but they got to interact. In Peter Jones’ session, “The New Rules of F&I,” for example, the last half hour was spent with Jones, dealers and other industry vendors bouncing ideas and suggestions off each other. There were so many questions asked and answered during Josh Chiles’ session “Engage Customers with Social Networking,” that some of the discussion spilled over to lunch. When John Spader finished his first discussion on “Your Formula For Greater Profits,” dealers were lined up to ask additional questions and seek individual advice from Spader.
And those are just a few examples of what was experienced at ProfitX. For me, it was my second ProfitX, and it was great to see many of the same dealers seeking to continue their education. I also met many new dealers, learning from ProfitX for the first time. The supporting cast of exhibitors and speakers was also second to none.
Yes, there have been some suggestions for next year, and we’re already looking at how we can improve the event to make the value skyrocket for all who attend. But again, I was amazed at what this event has accomplished in just its third year. And I’m so impressed with the dealers who choose to attend, enhance their education and take what they learn back to their dealerships for improved profit. Their stories of success are truly amazing and inspiring.
