Premier Marine has announced the release of the Sunsation and Solaris series, a new generation of pontoons designed to deliver improved performance, innovative design, smarter storage, refined comfort, and elevated luxury to the pontoon category.
The product launch is the latest in Premier’s aggressive growth plans to expand its dealership base nationwide and comes on the heels of a series of awards for the Minnesota manufacturer which began operations in a new world-class manufacturing facility just one year ago.
“We’re definitely on the gas,” says Matt Homan, CEO of Premier Marine. “We’ve been working toward this moment over the past two years and now everything is coming together.”
The Sunsation and Solaris build upon the performance legacy of Premier’s exclusive performance engineered PTX center tube design to deliver the great ride and handling. The new supercharged PTX touts performance gains upwards of 15 percent over the previous series. The boost in power also comes with 10 percent more fuel efficiency.
“For the past 28-years, PTX has been the benchmark for pontoon ride, handling, and performance,” Homan says. “Now we’re supercharging that performance to be even faster, sharper, and more efficient than ever before. No matter how you choose to enjoy the pontoon lifestyle, it’s even better with the new PTX.”
Both models boast new luxury features from bow to stern, including new materials, new storage solutions, and new styling. Leading the way is the all-new captain-first helm with optimized ergonomics and sightlines, increased comfort, and a clean, modern look. Another significant change is the immersive audio experience, featuring elevated, directional speaker mounting locations in the seat backs, and an available downward firing subwoofer.
Premier’s innovations and service have earned them recent awards from the National Marine Manufacturers Association, including recognition for the 360-degree Revolutionä seating system, dual sport versatility design which accommodates recreation in the front and purposeful fishing in the back, and high dealership customer satisfaction scores for the 7th consecutive year.
The Sunsation and Solaris models are available now with signature styling cues including a transparent bow gate, and a new selection of available colors, fabrics, and flooring options.
Anniversary of new headquarters
In September of 2022, Premier opened a new 150,000 square-foot development and manufacturing facility in Big Lake, Minnesota. Purpose-built for pontoons, the facility has allowed Premier to focus on new innovations while also giving the company the resources necessary to build the highest quality pontoons in the industry. The new Sunsation and Solaris models are proof of that effort.
The momentum and excitement surrounding Premier has attracted several new, reputable dealers to the Premier family: Southtown Watersports locations in Augusta, Georgia and Raleigh, North Carolina; eight MarineMax locations in Minnesota and Texas; six Skier’s Marine locations in Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia; four Gordy’s Marine locations in Illinois and Wisconsin; and three Irish Boat Shop locations in Michigan.
Premier continues to seek additional dealer partners as the company targets new regions across the country. Interested dealers are encouraged to visit the Premier Dealer Inquiry page.
