Ski-Doo recalls 2021-22 snowmobile models with 600 EFI engine

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall for popular, entry-level trail, backcountry and utility 2021 and 2022 Ski-Doo snowmobiles due to a potential fire hazard.

According to the recall, “The snowmobile’s muffler can overheat and cause the upper right-hand vent grill to melt and drip plastic on the exhaust, posing a fire hazard.”

The recall affects roughly 2,400 U.S. units sold, and an additional 3,000 in Canada.
