Triumph adds updates to the 2026 Daytona 660
Triumph is taking its Daytona 660 up a gear with updated features, giving the middleweight sports bike sportier specs and new, bolder styling. The updated Daytona is Triumph’s last model release of the Unleashed campaign, the OEM’s biggest-ever product rollout.

Headlining enhancements include adjustable Showa front suspension, standard Triumph Shift Assist, and grippier Metzeler M9RR Supersport tires. These are complemented by three new dynamic design schemes featuring Diablo Red accents and bold graphics. The Daytona also gains a new aluminum brake pedal with a clear anodized finish.
“The Daytona 660 was introduced in 2024 with the vision of growing the middleweight sport bike scene,” says Paul Stroud, chief commercial officer. “Using learnings from our Triumph Factory Racing program, we are introducing specific upgrades which have been carefully crafted to enhance the Daytona’s characteristics and light, agile, sporty feel.”
“Our goal is to attract new, younger riders to the Triumph brand.”
Shift assist
New for 2026 is the addition of Triumph Shift Assist, now standard on the Daytona 660. This is paired with a slip and assist clutch that lightens lever effort and smooths engagement, helping riders stay in complete control both through stop‑start traffic and on longer rides. Triumph says that when paired together, these sharpen the bike’s responsiveness.
Suspension and tires
The Daytona 660 features new Showa 41mm upside‑down big piston Separate Function Forks, adjustable for compression and rebound damping, offer riders an extra level of fine‑tuning. This enhanced adaptability can help riders create a more personalized set‑up, improving how the bike rides and handles. Paired with a Showa rear suspension unit featuring preload adjustment for quick set‑up changes.
Also new for 2026 are the Metzeler M9RR Supersport tires. Paired with lightweight five‑spoke 17‑inch cast aluminum wheels that reduce rotating mass, the combination increases stability and agility.
New style
For 2026, the Daytona 660 adds standard Sapphire Black to the color scheme. Black fairings, wheels, and fuel tank ties in with the silver underslung exhaust and Daytona 660 branding, and the prominent 660 graphic featured across the belly pan.
Triumph brings back Aluminum Silver and Cosmic Yellow — both paired with Sapphire Black — to the Daytona but adds a new aluminum brake pedal on all three colorways.
The 2026 Daytona 660 has an MSRP of $9,395 and will hit dealerships in April.
