Cycle Springs breaks ground on new Clearwater facility, continues expansion under Dimmitt Group
Following its acquisition in 2023, Cycle Springs Powersports has officially broken ground on a new, nearly 30,000 square foot facility in Clearwater, Florida, marking the next phase of growth for the dealership under Dimmitt Automotive Group.

The groundbreaking ceremony on April 9 included remarks from Peter Dimmitt, president of Dimmitt Automotive Group, and Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector, who highlighted the Dimmitt family’s long-standing impact on the local community through business growth, job creation, and philanthropy.
The new facility, expected to open in 2027, will sit on a five-acre campus and feature a modern showroom along with an expanded service department supporting both marine and powersports units, parts, and accessories. The investment reflects continued momentum for Cycle Springs since joining the Dimmitt portfolio.

“This groundbreaking represents more than just a new building. It is a commitment to our customers, our associates, and the community,” Dimmitt said during the ceremony.
As previously reported, the acquisition of Cycle Springs marked a strategic move by Dimmitt Automotive Group to expand beyond its traditional automotive roots and into powersports and marine. The company, now in its fourth generation, has been steadily diversifying its operations across the Tampa Bay region.

Cycle Springs remains a high-volume dealership, particularly in personal watercraft and jet boat sales, while also maintaining a strong presence in motorcycle retail along Florida’s Gulf Coast. The dealership carries a broad lineup of major OEM brands and continues to serve a growing customer base in the region.

During construction, dealership operations will continue uninterrupted, with sales and service departments operating from temporary nearby locations.
