Laconia Bike Week starts with governor’s appearance
Laconia Motorcycle Week kicks off Thursday, June 7, with a media event featuring New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch.
The event, being held at the Weirs Beach Lobster Pound, provides the opportunity for law enforcement, public safety and State of New Hampshire dignitaries to welcome visitors.
Cynthia Makris, president of the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association, will emcee the gathering. In addition to Lynch, other dignitaries expected to be in attendance are Laconia Mayor Mike Seymour, Lori Harnois of the New Hampshire Department of Travel & Tourism; Peter Thomson of the New Hampshire Department of Safety, Lorna Colquhoun of the New Hampshire Business Resource Center and other officials, including Charlie St. Clair and Jennifer Anderson of the Laconia MC Week Association.
