Reports say Audi may unveil Ducati purchase next week

Audi, Volkswagen’s luxury car division, is set to make an announcement about its purchase of Ducati next week, two sources told Reuters.

It is expected that the announcement could come April 18, the day before Volkswagen’s annual meeting, though the companies declined to confirm the report.

Corriere della Sera, an Italian newspaper, reported that the deal is expected to be signed next week, and Ducati owner Investindustrial will talk exclusively to Audi until April 15.
