PSBI@AIMExpo sessions: How to choose which ones to attend
If you’ve ever been to the Powersports Business Institute @ AIMExpo, you know one of the hardest things to do is choose which sessions to attend. And if you’ve never attended the PSBI@AIMExpo, you’re in for a treat because for the third year in a row we’ve gathered the top speakers in our industry who have compiled best practices that you can bring back to your dealership and start implementing immediately upon your return.
With its five tracks and two full days of dealer education, PSBI@AIMExpo, sponsored by CDK Global Recreation and National Powersport Auctions (NPA), offers 42 total sessions to choose from.
So how do you pick? If you visit the PSBI@AIMExpo page on our website, you can read descriptions of each of the sessions to help you determine which ones fit best in terms of what you’d like to bring back from the event. The tracks include Sales & Marketing sponsored by Fisher Investments, Powering Profits sponsored by McGraw Powersports, Leadership Plus sponsored by ARI Network Services, Service & Operations sponsored by Weego, and the all-new Brick and Mortar Success Guide targeted at independent V-twin dealers.
Some of the speakers I’m most looking forward to seeing include returning speakers Gart Sutton, Jim Rasmus, Steve Jones and Sam Dantzler, who is presenting two different sessions over both days. PSB bloggers in the lineup include Mark Mooney, Tommy Ady and Jennifer Robison, so if you like reading what they write for our site, you’ll probably enjoy what they have to present at PSBI@AIMExpo. John Spader, of course, always has solid dealership metrics to share. Nan Woodsome is a dealer peer, and she’s prepared to share phone etiquette best practices from her personal experience. And we have a group of new speakers that wowed us with their planned presentations, as well as the all-new Brick and Mortar Success Guide track. Of course Friday afternoon’s State of the Industry Roundtable is always a can’t-miss session as well.
If you really can’t decide, 11 sessions are running more than once, allowing you to pick which time slot works better for you. Of course, we always recommend that you bring more of your staff, so you have as many of the sessions covered as you need.
Some of the dealers who have had the most success at the PSBI@AIMExpo have been those who have scouted out the schedule in advance and planned out the event session by session. That way you don’t have to make a split decision of which room to go into. Again, check out the PSBI@AIMExpo page to plan out your two days at PSBI@AIMExpo.
And Dave McMahon, Kate Swanson, the rest of the Powersports Business staff and I will be on site to help as well. We can’t wait to see you in about two weeks!
