Two dealerships burglarized in Texas, Oklahoma
Two dealerships were broken into early Monday morning in Texas and Oklahoma, with more than $10,000 in merchandise stolen from one dealership. The burglaries are believed to be connected, reported by KXII News 12.
A manager at Sherman Powersports, the first dealership burglarized, told the news station, “It’s definitely a violation. We work hard to keep the doors open. We try to give everyone a good customer experience and this kind of thing makes it rough.”
The burglars reportedly broke into Sherman Powersports, in Sherman, Texas, through a window and stole $10,000 in merchandise and caused at least $1,000 in damage to the dealership.
Jones Powersports in Durant, Oklahoma, was also burglarized early Monday morning, with the thieves stealing sunglasses and motorcycle apparel. Sherman Police believe it is the same people who broke into Sherman Powersports hours earlier.
