Harley-Davidson Financial Services sued over alleged harassment
A man from Florida reported that he was allegedly harassed by frequent collection calls to his cellphone, according to an article from the Florida Record.
The plaintiff, identified as Michael Oliver, filed a complaint on Jan. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against Harley-Davidson Financial Services. The lawsuit alleges that Harley-Davidson violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act.
Oliver says that beginning in December 2015, he suffered damages from receiving several collection calls on his cellphone. He has requested a trail by jury and no official date has been set.
