MIC offers Sound Test Manual Online
The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) said an updated MIC Stationary Sound Test Manual for Off-Highway Motorcycles and ATVs will be published this month.
First published by the MIC in 1980, the manual has been an essential tool for the effective and economical enforcement and evaluation of motorcycle and ATV sound levels in the field.
The MIC says the manual is a part of the organization’s comprehensive effort to protect off-highway vehicle recreational opportunities by promoting responsible use and wise management of the vehicles on private and public land.
The information will be posted in the “Downloads” section of the MIC website, www.mic.org.
