MIC Adds Eight in November
The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) Board of Directors approved eight new members in November, making 2005 the sixth consecutive year that membership exceeded the 300-member mark.
New voting members include International Racers, Inc., a sports management company representing athletes such as Nicky Hayden; Patrick Racing, Inc., a manufacturer of motorcycle engines and components; Twisted Throttle Ltd., an importer and distributor of motorcycle parts and accessories; and Web Bike World, a consumer web service providing information on motorcycles, parts, garments and accessories.
New non-voting members are Dealership University, a provider of powersports dealer training; Goldman Sachs, a global investment banking and securities firm; Indianapolis Motor Speedway, interested in expanding motorcycle-related events; and My Motorcycle Jobs, a web service provider offering job postings, educational and training resources.
In other MIC news, the next MIC American V-Twin Committee meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. on December 12 in Irvine, Calif.
