Honda Shows Selection of 2006 Models
Honda has revealed information regarding a selection of its ATVs and dirt bikes planned for the 2006 model year.
The 2006 XR650L and XR650R off-road bikes are priced at $5,799 and $6,299, respectively. The off-road category is further filled with the CRF50F ($1,299), CRF70F ($1,599), CRF80F ($2,019), CRF100F ($2,319), CRF230F ($3,599), CRF250X ($6,399), and the CRF450X ($7,199). No word on the CRF150F.
Honda’s off-road competition bikes, or Motocross category, features the CR85R ($3,099), CR85R Expert ($3,199), CR125R ($5,449), CR250R ($6,399) and CRF450R ($6,899). No word on the CRF250R.
While there are few technological changes on the ATV models released, seven models will be available with a new color option.
In short, the 499cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke Rubicon ($7,299) and Rubicon GPScape ($7,499) will be available in black as well as red, yellow and olive; the 397cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke Rancher AT ($6,099) and Rancher AT GPScape ($6,299) will be available in black, red and olive; the 229cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke Recon ($3,599) and Recon ES ($3,799) get a new blue color to join the red and olive schemes already available; and the 475cc four-stroke FourTrax Fourman ($6,399) will be available in yellow, joining the red and olive colors in the lineup.
Honda’s two lesser-powered sport quads also receive a new color option. The 2006 TRX400EX ($5,899) and 300EX ($4,749) both will be available with black plastic in addition to traditional red. The 400 also gets reverse.
