Personal watercraft sales for July reported by Info-Link

Personal watercraft retail sales increased in July, according to the latest Info-Link Bellwether report.

The Bellwether report tracks sales of powerboats across the country based on new U.S. boat registrations on a rolling 12-month basis. Data shows that PWC sales in the month of July grew by 5 percent.

Bellwether states are geographically dispersed states representing roughly half of the U.S. boat market (varies by market segment and time of year).

The 5 percent year-over-year sales increase in July was the best monthly gain since February, which also had 5 percent year-over-year growth.
