Piaggio to supply Croatian postal service with 250 scooters

Through its local subsidiary, the Piaggio Group won the tender for the new fleet of vehicles for HP-Hrvatska Posta d.o.o., the main postal service provider in the Republic of Croatia.

The contract is for 250 Piaggio Liberty Delivery vehicles, which will become part of the fleet of the Croatian public body, the HP-Hrvatska Posta d.o.o., which applauded the scooter for its greater versatility, capacity, limited consumption and higher safety standards than its competitors.

The new supply is in addition to Piaggio vehicles already supplied to the Croatian agency. With the addition of vehicles ordered previously, it now has a fleet of 1,100 Piaggio scooters.

The Piaggio Liberty Delivery E4 50cc is a vehicle specifically designed to meet the needs of corporate fleets and delivery-related requests. The Piaggio Group has gained experience gained in supplying various European postal services such as those in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Slovenia and Hungary, for a total of more than 46,000 Piaggio Liberty Delivery scooters sold in Europe, and is a leader in the supply of vehicles for mail and professional delivery services.

It is a technologically advanced scooter, designed to meet the most evolved needs in terms of quality, style, safety, affordability of operation and respect for the environment. Available with Euro 4 engines in two versions of displacement (50 and 125 cc), it is an enhanced version of that for personal use, which features a reinforced frame and even stronger forks that optimally respond to load stresses. Power, reduced fuel consumption and smooth operation are ensured by the new Piaggio i-get engines (Italian green experience technology). The large diameter wheels offer dynamic safety necessary for those who need to transport their goods safely, quickly and efficiently on a daily basis.

Piaggio Liberty Delivery reaches a load capacity of 65 kg with its combined front and rear racks. With the objective of optimally responding to specific transport and delivery needs, accessories such as the 35 and 40-litre Utility Bag, the 75-litre Top Box and the 85-litre Food Box have been designed to extend the functionality of the scooter.
