Scorpion announces partnership with Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based Scorpion Sports Inc. USA (SSI) will be partnering with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) to produce a limited-edition IMS commemorative riding jacket. The “1909 IMS” is an exclusive vintage leather jacket that will be available at this summer’s MotoGP event in Indianapolis.
“Our goal is to fuel the passion behind motorcycle racing in America through one of the most iconic brands in motorsports,” said Jayson Wickenkamp of Scorpion USA. “Indianapolis Motor Speedway has always been synonymous with world-class racing, we are excited to provide the fans with a world-class motorcycle garment that bears the wing-and-wheel emblem.”
The “1909” Premium Vintage Leather Jacket is expected to be available in late July and will be for sale in limited quantities at the Grand Prix on August 8th, 9th, and 10th.
