Lehman Trikes suspends operations

Lehman Trikes, Inc. has suspended operations, effective March 9. The company said in a press release that it has not been able to complete a sale that it was working on, however it is continuing to pursue capital for the company.

Without a sale, Lehman has not been able to continue operations at its Spearfish, S.D., facility. Operations have been suspended until further notice, and restarting the business depends on future capital through financing or another transaction, which cannot be guaranteed.

The company is suspending operations about two months after founder John Lehman passed away. The company reported in November that it was seeking a sale or a merger. To read that story, click here.
