Performance Brokerage Services announced the sale of Chesapeake Harley-Davidson in Darlington, Maryland from Steve Ramsey to Pete Eisenhauer. Ramsey, who also owns Ford of Elkton and Ford of Rising Sun in Maryland, decided to sell so that he could scale back, slow down and spend more time in Florida where he has a home and enjoys fishing. The dealership will operate under its new name, Eisenhauer’s Chesapeake Harley-Davidson.
Following the sale, Ramsey shared, “Having known of George Chaconas as the Harley-Davidson go to guy to sell stores, I met with him on two different occasions to consider my options and selling. George immediately identified the perfect buyer and eventually we came to a meeting of the minds on a deal. I am very happy and pleased with his personal service and commitment. I would highly recommend George and Performance Brokerage Services.”
The dealership is Pete Eisenhauer’s second Harley-Davidson dealership, having purchased Cox’s Mansfield Harley-Davidson in Pennsylvania in 2015, also through George Chaconas and Performance Brokerage Services. This made for a perfect strategic acquisition for Eisenhauer who also owns a Nissan dealership in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. After his purchase, Eiesenhauer commented, “After buying our first Harley-Davidson store from George Chaconas, he continued to stay in touch with us and introduced us to our second purchase. We really appreciate George’s professionalism and his follow up. We want to thank him and Performance Brokerage Services very much for helping our family’s dreams come true!”
George C. Chaconas, the exclusive agent for this transaction and the head of the National Harley-Davidson and Powersports Division for Performance Brokerage Services commented, “It was an honor to have represented Steve Ramsey as he is a great guy, and to have assisted him with increasing his quality of life. It also brought me great pleasure to have helped Pete acquire his second Harley-Davidson dealership.”
