Wiseco to support GEICO Honda for 2018 SX, MX season
Wiseco Performance Products, a manufacturer of high performance, forged and billet pistons for the powersports, snowmobile, personal watercraft, outboard marine and automotive markets will continue to energize its presence in the Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross spaces following an agreement with the Factory Connection-owned GEICO Honda team.
“We’re fortunate to be working with Wiseco this year,” said Dan Betley, Team Manager for GEICO Honda. “That partnership has been helping expedite some pistons for us and helping with the development as we progress trying to increase our horsepower. The engine is going to continue to evolve throughout the entire year. At this stage in development, it’s going to be a progression throughout the year to keep improving the engine settings and making the riders happy. I’m really happy with where we’re all at. We’ll definitely be in contention for podiums come A1.”
GEICO Honda will feature a five-rider lineup for the 2018 season with Christian Craig and Chase Sexton handling the riding chores for the Western Regional 250 SX Class events. Jeremy Martin, R.J. Hampshire and Cameron McAdoo will represent the team at the Eastern Regional 250 SX Class races.

The 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season opener from Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Calif., will be televised live on FS1 Saturday, Jan. 6 beginning at 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 7 p.m., Pacific.
