Dealership celebrates 100 years of business
“The oldest dealership in Canada,” Trev Deeley Motorcycles, of Vancouver, B.C., is celebrating 100 years of business this August.
Beginning in 1917, Fred Deeley Sr. (Trev Deeley’s grandfather) first signed a dealer agreement contract with Harley-Davidson Motor Company, making the dealership one of the oldest dealerships in the world. In 1973, Harley-Davidson asked Trev Deeley to become its exclusive Canadian distributor, though Harley-Davidson took over direct distribution in 2015.
The dealership is located at 1875 Boundary Road in Vancouver and features the Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition. The exhibit has photos and mementos of the late Trev Deeley’s racing past and motorcycles through the years.
