PWIA Offers Free Video For Rental Market
Rental operators take note: The Personal Watercraft Industry Association (PWIA) is now offering free rental education packages to businesses.
Included in the kit is a DVD to acquaint renters with PWC regulations and handling characteristics before they ride, as well as a safety checklist approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators.
Items included on the checklist include protective clothing/equipment, PWC controls, how to avoid collisions, hazards and other rules and safety info renters should be aware of before going out on the water. Again, kits are free.

New Product Development Company for PWC Launches
Discovery River Tours, the all-inclusive PWC tour company based in the Southeast, recently announced the creation of WaterCrafters, a spin-off of DRT aimed at product development and manufacturing.
WaterCrafters will develop and manufacture numerous items that DRT patrons have enjoyed during the years, including the PWSee Shield windscreen, extended reverse levers for the Yamaha FX line, AdventuRack gas can and cargo rack, and handlebar-mounted Tie-Up Cleat.
The company also will develop its own branded product line of heavy-duty service and showroom carts, one-person unloading system for said carts, and marine stands for outboard motors.
