Triumph expands TXP electric off-road lineup
Triumph Motorcycles has expanded its TXP electric off-road motorcycle lineup in North America with the introduction of the new TXP-20 and TXP-24.
The two models join the previously introduced TXP-12 and TXP-16, creating a four-model range designed for riders from age 3 through adulthood. Each model features age-specific chassis geometry, controls and components, along with adjustable electric performance and a 2-in-1 configuration for seated off-road or standing trials-style riding.
The TXP-20 is designed for riders ages 7 to 11 and uses a 1,600-watt, 58-volt motor with a 58V, 19.5Ah lithium battery. Triumph lists a top speed of 24 mph and says the model can be configured for off-road riding or trials use.
Suspension consists of a 125mm air-sprung front fork and 115mm rear monoshock, both with rebound adjustment. The TXP-20 also features hydraulic disc brakes, a 42.72-inch wheelbase and seat heights of 20.67 inches in Trials mode and 27.56 inches in Xplore mode.
The TXP-24 is the largest and most powerful model in the lineup. Designed for riders ages 11 and older, including adults weighing up to 198.86 pounds, it uses a 2,000-watt, 58-volt motor and 19.5Ah battery. Top speed is listed at 27 mph.
The TXP-24 has 160mm of front suspension travel and 154mm at the rear, with adjustable rebound, compression and volume. Four-piston hydraulic calipers and 203mm front and rear brake rotors provide braking, while the bike’s wheelbase measures 48.03 inches. Both new models use brushless motors with adjustable power, speed and throttle response. The TXP range also incorporates Field-Oriented Control and Active Power Stabilization, while the lithium batteries are IPX7 rated and can be removed without tools.
Triumph and OSET, which joined the Triumph family in 2022, developed the TXP range by combining Triumph’s design and engineering resources with OSET’s electric trials technology.
Safety features across the lineup include magnetic safety lanyards, PIN-protected parental speed controls, two-stage startup systems and IP66/IPX7 protection for components and batteries. The removable-seat design allows riders to switch between seated Xplore mode and standing Trials mode.
U.S. pricing starts at $3,495 for the TXP-20 and $3,995 for the TXP-24. The TXP range is available to order through selected Triumph dealerships.
