Suzuki reveals 2027 lineup with updated pricing for DR-Z, GSX models
Suzuki is returning a broad group of motorcycles and ATVs to its 2027 lineup, with new DR-Z4S dual-sport and DR-Z4SM SuperMoto models joining updates to the GSX, V-STROM and KingQuad families.
The company announced the latest 2027 models Sept. 15, highlighting strategic price adjustments on several motorcycles as Suzuki responds to changing market conditions and dealer feedback. The affected models include the DR-Z lineup, GSX-8S, GSX-8R and GSX-S1000.
For Suzuki dealers, the expanded lineup provides several new products across the street, dual-sport, adventure and ATV segments, with MSRPs ranging from $3,584 for the QuadSport Z90 to $18,949 for the GSX-S1000GX+.
DR-Z lineup gets a major update
The most significant addition is the 2027 DR-Z4S, which marks the next generation of Suzuki’s dual-sport platform.
The DR-Z4S features an all-new twin-spar steel frame and aluminum subframe, along with a redesigned 398cc engine. The engine now uses electronic fuel injection and a Ride-by-Wire throttle body, giving Suzuki a modernized powertrain for the dual-sport segment.
A DR-Z4S+ version adds off-road equipment from the factory, including a skid plate, handguards and front and rear brake rotor guards. The package has an MSRP of $8,299, also reflecting a new price adjustment.
Suzuki is also introducing the 2027 DR-Z4SM SuperMoto. Like the DR-Z4S, the SM uses the new twin-spar steel frame and aluminum subframe and the redesigned 398cc engine with electronic fuel injection and a 42mm Ride-by-Wire throttle body.
The DR-Z4SM has an MSRP of $7,999.
Suzuki’s middleweight push
The 2027 GSX-8S returns with its 776cc DOHC parallel-twin engine, 270-degree crankshaft timing and Suzuki Cross Balancer technology.
Standard technology includes a 5-inch full-color TFT display, bidirectional quick shift and traction control. The GSX-8S has an MSRP of $8,749, with Suzuki identifying the model as one of those receiving a new price adjustment.
The GSX-8R carries the same 776cc parallel-twin platform into a sportbike-oriented package. Suzuki lists the 2027 GSX-8R at $9,199, also with a new price adjustment.
V-STROM lineup
Suzuki’s 2027 V-STROM 1050 and V-STROM 1050DE continue to serve the adventure-touring market. The standard V-STROM 1050 uses Suzuki’s 1,037cc V-twin and is positioned as a sport adventure tourer for commuting, touring and long-distance riding. MSRP is $15,699.
The more off-road-oriented V-STROM 1050DE adds increased ground clearance, a 21-inch front wheel, 17-inch rear wheel, spoke-style wheels, Dunlop Adventure tires and fully adjustable long-travel suspension. The DE also receives an aluminum engine protector and off-road-specific equipment.
Suzuki carries GSX-S1000 into 2027
The 2027 GSX-S1000 continues with its GSX-R1000-derived engine, aluminum twin-spar frame, KYB suspension and Brembo front brakes.
Suzuki has reduced the MSRP to $10,798 as part of the model’s new price adjustment. The motorcycle also features a 5-inch full-color TFT display and Suzuki Intelligent Ride System electronics.
The GSX-S1000 family also includes the $14,599 GSX-S1000GT+, a sport-touring model equipped with integrated side cases, Smart Cruise Control, bidirectional quick shift, traction control and power modes.
At the top of the road-oriented lineup is the GSX-S1000GX+, Suzuki’s crossover model. The $18,949 GX+ combines sport-touring performance with longer suspension travel, increased ground clearance, integrated luggage and electronic suspension technology.
KingQuad and QuadSport additions
Suzuki is also expanding its 2027 ATV offerings. The QuadSport Z90 returns as a youth-oriented ATV for riders age 12 and older with adult supervision. It features an automatic transmission, electric start, keyed ignition and throttle limiter. MSRP is $3,584.
The 400ASi starts at $7,199 and uses Suzuki’s automatic Quadmatic transmission with 2WD and 4WD modes, electronic fuel injection and an iridium spark plug. The Camo version is priced at $7,749, while the SE carries an MSRP of $7,849.
The 400FSi, priced at $7,199, takes a different approach with a five-speed manual-shift transmission and semi-automatic clutch. Suzuki positions the model for customers looking for a combination of recreational performance and utility.
Suzuki notes that the KingQuad 400ASi, 400ASi Camo and 400FSi are not eligible for sale in California under California Air Resources Board off-highway vehicle regulations.
For dealers, Suzuki’s latest 2027 release adds fresh inventory opportunities across several core segments, while the price adjustments on select motorcycles give dealers another point to emphasize as they work to attract customers in the middleweight, dual-sport and street-bike categories.
