Honda Pioneer 700, Pioneer 520 UTVs return with versatile utility for 2027
American Honda is bringing its Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 multipurpose side-by-sides back for the 2027 model year, giving powersports dealers two platforms aimed at customers looking for a combination of work capability and recreational versatility.
The midsize Pioneer 700 is offered in six configurations spanning two- and four-seat models, while the compact Pioneer 520 is designed for customers who want side-by-side capability in a smaller package.
“The Pioneer 700 and Pioneer 520 continue to embody Honda’s commitment to building side-by-sides that are as capable at work as they are on the trail,” says Colin Miller, manager of experiential marketing at American Honda. “From hauling supplies around the farm to exploring backcountry trails, these models are designed to deliver the versatility and reliability that Honda customers expect.”
2027 Honda Pioneer 700
The Pioneer 700 lineup is powered by a 675cc single-cylinder engine and features long-travel suspension, cargo capacity and a range of available accessories. Honda positions the platform for customers who use their machines for both recreational riding and property maintenance.
The 2027 Pioneer 700 is available in three trim levels across two- and four-seat configurations:
- Pioneer 700: Hero Red — $12,899 MSRP
- Pioneer 700-4: Hero Red — $14,399 MSRP
- Pioneer 700 Deluxe: Hero Red or Black Forest Green — $14,499 MSRP
- Pioneer 700-4 Deluxe: Black Forest Green — $15,999 MSRP
- Pioneer 700 Forest: TrueTimber Atera Camo — $16,499 MSRP
- Pioneer 700-4 Forest: TrueTimber Atera Camo — $17,999 MSRP
The Pioneer 700 models are scheduled to be available in September.
2027 Honda Pioneer 520
Honda is also returning the compact Pioneer 520 for 2027. The two-seat side-by-side is designed for buyers who need utility capability without the footprint of a full-size machine.
The Pioneer 520 can navigate narrow trails and is compact enough to fit in the bed of many full-size pickup trucks, while still providing capability for property maintenance, farm chores and recreational riding.
The 2027 Pioneer 520 will be offered in Hero Red, Black Forest Green and Matte Cactus Green. MSRP is still to be announced, with availability scheduled for September.
Both Pioneer platforms are manufactured in the U.S. using domestic and globally sourced parts. Honda says all of its side-by-sides and ATVs are built at its manufacturing facilities in Timmonsville, South Carolina, and Swepsonville, North Carolina.
