New Bonneville T40 revealed, 1st of 4 Triumph models to drop before 2027
Triumph Motorcycles recently revealed its new Bonneville T40 and T40 black for the 2027 model year. The announcement is the first of four new model announcements Triumph plans to release between now and December.

The latest Bonneville T40 and T40 Black feature a new iteration of Triumph’s 400cc TR Series engine and the styling synonymous with the original Bonneville. Triumph says it set out for a design with relaxed ergonomics, category-leading technology and meticulous attention to detail. Both models will be available globally in late Spring 2027.
“We’ve got four important model launches coming over the next three months, starting with the new Bonneville T40. It’s great to be able to give riders an early look at what’s coming. We can’t wait to share the full details of each bike in the coming weeks.” — Nick Bell, Chief Marketing Officer, Triumph Motorcycles

Triumph says the next model release will be the new Tiger 1200 on Oct. 27. While images show a distinctive new look, Triumph confirmed that its updated 1200cc triple engine will increase performance and refinement, with advanced rider technology and the most sophisticated suspension package ever fitted to a Triumph motorcycle.
Next, on Nov. 17, Triumph will reveal the specification for the Street Triple 798, featuring the new 798cc engine, developed for the 2027 Moto2 championship. Triumph has also confirmed that the Street Triple 798 specs will be even more performance-focused than previous models.
Triumph notes that the new Tiger 1200 and Street Triple 798 will be displayed at EICMA and Motorcycle Live.
The final bike to be unveiled in Triumph’s four-model end-of-year model announcement is the new Tiger 900, featuring a more powerful, refined engine, upgraded chassis, enhanced rider technology and next-generation connectivity. Full specs and details will be revealed on Dec. 15.
