Triumph takes home its first-ever MX2 World Championship
Triumph Motorcycles is celebrating after its TF 250-X won the 2026 FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship with the Triumph TF 250-X
Just three years after launching the TF 250-X and entering motocross for the first time, rider Guillem Farres took Triumph to victory, with teammate Camden McLellan finishing second.
The MX2 class has a rider age restriction of 15 to 23 years old, and can only include two-stroke engines from 100cc up to 125cc, or four-stroke motors from 175cc up to 250cc.
The Triumph duo of Farres and McLellan achieved 21 moto wins and 26 podium finishes, including eight double podiums and four 1-2 finishes, aboard the Triumph TF 250-X. As a result, the Triumph Factory Racing team has secured Triumph’s place as FIM MX2 Motocross Manufacturers World Champion.

Championship-winning TF 250-X
Developed in collaboration with off-road racing legends including Ricky Carmichael and Ivan Cervantes, the TF 250-X delivers 47.3 PS at 13,750 rpm with an ultra-light chassis, offering a power-to-weight ratio that delivers exceptional agility and balance.
It features KYB suspension, Brembo brakes, Pro Taper bars, and D.I.D wheels and race-optimised electronics including launch control, traction control, quickshifter, and dual engine maps.
The championship-winning TF 250-X is currently available from $9,795.
