Scot Harden, vice president of media relations for KTM North America, Inc., has been tapped to create an off-road adventure touring and rider training division for the Austrian brand.
Harden, a well-known off-road racer, has served as KTM media representative for the past 18 years.
“We will have some very exciting news coming in the weeks and months ahead on the development of this new offering from KTM,” Harden said. “I can't give you specifics at this time, but I can tell you that this will be the most authentic and true to the sport adventure motorcycling experience available anywhere in North America.
“In the meantime, I have already begun to put into place the structure and format for our Adventure operations.”
The reigns of the KTM Media department will be turned over to Jeff Salamon, KTM Director of Marketing, North America. Salamon will be supported by Tom Moen, Media Relations Manager, and Laurette Cushman, Media Coordinator.
