Patriot Motorcycle Corporation, a distributor off-road motorcycles and ATVs, plus the Steed by Patriot line of V-Twin custom street bikes, says it will market all of its off-road product under the Patriot OffRoad brand name.
In November, Patriot announced it had reached a settlement of the lawsuit filed October 12, 2005, in Los Angeles Federal Court by Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. In the suit, also filed against Yamoto Motor Corporation, Yamaha alleged trademark infringement and other disputed activities. The suit against Yamoto continues.
“Introduction of the new Patriot OffRoad identity represents a major element of the original initiative and marketing plan to offer all recreational vehicles and private-label products under a unified Patriot logo and brand,” Patriot officials said in a prepared statement.
The Patriot team is made up of CEO Michel Attias; COO Scott Watson; Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jim White; Chief Brand Officer Mark Green; and Chief Technical Officer Ray Wedel.
