Majesky to retire from Yuasa after 47 years of service

Joe Majesky, one of the most well-known faces in the North American powersports battery space, will retire on Aug. 31, after 47 years of service. Majesky will continue to assist Yuasa as a consultant starting Sept. 1. 

“In the powersports battery market, Joe is Yuasa and Yuasa is Joe,” said Hitoshi Ohta, chairman and CEO of Yuasa Battery, Inc.  “Joe is the individual who initiated and made sure our premier quality batteries would be recognized and continuously sustain the highest brand image on the market. His love of, passion for and dedication to Yuasa, is just incredible and because of this, we still enjoy the highest reputation and trust from the industry. We cannot thank him enough for his great, great contributions.” 

Ohta continued, “Joe will be greatly missed. We will do our very best to carry over the valued reputation and tradition he has aspired so hard to establish and solidify into the next Yuasa generation.”

  6. You are one of the ones that made the industry a good place to work. Many good memories, lots of hard work that seemed more like just doing what we all love to do. There are many of us that have spent years at this profession sharing knowledge, and building our careers together that could not have done it without the support of one another. We all enjoyed what we did and we did it well. Good times and good friends. We gave it our best and it gave it back. Good time to retire for sure!!! Best of luck and enjoy !! You will be missed
