Rider selects 2015 Motorcycle of the Year

Rider Magazine, a sister publication of Powersports Business announced the recipient of its Motorcycle of the Year award on July 22.

Eligibility for the award was limited to current-model-year motorcycles. The Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT took the honors. Other contenders for Motorcycle of the Year included the BMW R 1200 R, Ducati Multistrada 1200/S, Ducati Scrambler, KTM 1290 Super Adventure, Harley-Davidson Street 500/750, Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS, Indian Scout, Yamaha FZ-07, Kawasaki Vulcan S and Yamaha FJ-09.
