Royal Alloy Grand Prix 300S sidecar coming to U.S. market for 2027
Genuine Scooter Co., the U.S. distributor for Royal Alloy, is bringing a factory-designed sidecar to the U.S. market for the 2027 Royal Alloy Grand Prix 300S scooter.

The new sidecar is designed specifically for the Grand Prix 300S and will be offered as a package with the scooter through authorized Genuine Scooter dealers. Genuine says the setup is engineered and balanced for the GP300S and requires no drilling or custom fabrication.
The combination gives the classic-styled 278cc scooter additional passenger capacity and storage while maintaining Royal Alloy’s vintage-inspired design. The sidecar features lightweight fiberglass bodywork, a 12-inch wheel with coilover shock suspension, a passenger seat and grab handle, and a classic-style windscreen. It also includes a locking trunk, USB-A charging port and integrated front and rear brake lights.

Genuine Scooter said the sidecar was developed by Royal Alloy specifically for the GP300S platform, providing a complete factory-designed setup rather than a custom sidecar conversion.
“Very impressed with the performance. Driving it was the highlight of my trip to Amerivespa,” says Darrel Clark of CC Scooters & Cycles.
The 2027 Royal Alloy Grand Prix 300S has an MSRP of $6,199, while the sidecar carries an MSRP of $3,199. The sidecar is currently available only as part of a package with the 2027 GP300S and is not available separately or for pre-2027 GP300S models.
Dealer takeaway
The new sidecar package gives Royal Alloy dealers another differentiated product to showcase in the showroom, with a factory-engineered passenger and utility option aimed at riders looking for something outside the traditional scooter market. Dealers can offer the complete 2027 GP300S/sidecar package at a combined MSRP of $9,498.
