CFMOTO sees 30% increase in motorcycle sales for first half 2026

CFMOTO continues to gain market share after reporting it sold nearly 200,000 motorcycles in the first half of 2026, a 30% increase from the same period last year, according to London news publication Visordown.

Citing CFMOTO’s 2026 half-year report published in August, Visordown reported that around 98,000 of its bikes sold went overseas, a year-over-year increase of 37%. Overseas motorcycle revenue was also up 40%.

CFMOTO’s overseas motorcycle sales were roughly half of its total bike sales volume, underscoring the popularity the brand has had in the North American market. The OEM currently has around 800 total dealers in the U.S., with 300 of those carrying its two-wheel lineups.

The report credits some of its growth to its middleweight and larger motorcycles, including models such as the 450MT, 675SR, 800MT and 1000MT-X.

The company also reported significant growth in all areas during the first half of 2026. Total revenue climbed to RMB 13.39 billion (roughly $1.92 billion), up 36%. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 6.26% to RMB 1.06 billion (around $236.5 million).

Dealer takeaway

CFMOTO has built a reputation in the U.S. for producing feature-rich vehicles at a competitive price. The recent success of its middleweight and larger motorcycles points to the OEM meeting the needs of those looking for larger-displacement bikes at a lower price. Its strategy of offering robust standard features to strengthen showroom appeal and build consumer confidence seems to be working.
