Can-Am unveils two concept models that look to redefine SxS segment
Can-Am recently revealed two new concept side-by-sides, the Defender Prerunner and the Maverick R Xray, drawing their inspiration from iconic off-road events like King of the Hammers and races at the Glamis Sand Dunes.

While BRP says the Can-Am Defender Prerunner and the Can-Am Maverick R XRay are not intended for production, both reflect the brand’s drive to innovate and challenge convention, continually redefining the SxS industry. In line with this ethos, Can-Am also says it plans to release major off-road product news every six months for the next four years.
“At BRP, we thrive on innovation and ambitious goals,” says Sandy Scullion, president of powersports at BRP. “Our efforts are sharply focused on becoming the No. 1 brand in off-road and the OEM of choice for dealers around the globe. In order to be a great partner to our dealers, it is critical that we continue to deliver industry-leading products.”
