Harley-Davidson dealer aims to add RV park: report
A Harley-Davidson dealership owner is proposing to city officials to open a full-service campground near the Harley-Davidson dealership he owns and construct a building for recreation vehicle sales, according to a report.
The Effingham (Illinois) Daily News reports that the city’s Plan Commission approved two site plans for a campground and an RV sales building. Paul Gutman, owner of Legacy Harley-Davidson, wants to build a 12,351 square-foot building for the campers. He also intends to buy five acres of land east of the dealership.
Gutman added campers and RVs to his dealership in 2017.
