In addition, the company says that with its global success and strong financial position, KYMCO is determined to invest significantly in the U.S. market.
Manternach’s experience in product assembly operations will expedite KYMCO’s plans for product assembly in the USA. KYMCO USA, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is actively seeking an industry partnership to secure production and assembly facilities within the U.S. and welcomes any interested parties to contact the company directly.
“Assembly in the U.S. is a win-win-win strategy,” Manternach said. “It will help the company to be even more cost efficient, it will provide job opportunities for the community and improve the profit margins for all of our dealers.”
Manternach most recently was vice president, Research and Development at Pride Mobility Products Corp., where he spent the past six years. Prior to that, he was an engineering manager at National Cycle for seven years. He’s a 1996 graduate of the University of Iowa.
