Report: Error delays paychecks for thousands at Kawasaki plant

Nearly 2,000 employees of the Kawasaki Motors plant in Lincoln, Nebraska were notified that their paychecks had been delayed, according to an article in the Lincoln Journal Star.

Vice president and plant manager Mike Boyle commented that the delay was “due to an error by the contractor that processes paychecks for the plant.”

While the issue affected all of the plant’s employees on Friday Nov. 25, Boyle said that everyone should be paid by the following Monday.

“It’s just terrible timing with this being the major holiday weekend for our employees to buy their Christmas gifts and so on. We just feel terrible about it,” Boyle added.
