PWC Bellwether sales record first month of growth in five years
Sales of PWC, which had been shrinking year-over-year since March 2007, recorded its first month of growth in June for the Bellwether states, with sales growing by 2.5 percent, according to data from Info-Link technologies.
The PWC segment had been down 10.8 percent in March for all states, while they were down more than 3 percent for Bellwether states.
The data is based on new U.S. boat registrations. Bellwether states are geographically dispersed states representing roughly half of the U.S. boat market (varies by market segment and time of year). Full graphs are available here: Info-Link Technologies Bellwether report.
