Honda motorcycle plant remains closed
Honda Motor Co. Ltd.’s Kumamoto factory in Japan will remain closed at least through Wednesday, the company announced.
The factory, which produces motorcycles, has been closed since March 14 following the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
To raise money for relief efforts, American Honda Motor Co. has established a special website to accept donations to the Red Cross from its powersports, power equipment and automotive dealers. Many have already expressed their concern and support, the company said.
