Harley introduces 1200 Custom with factory customization
Harley-Davidson has released a mid-year addition to its 2011 lineup, the 1200 Custom.
The new Sportster features a wide front end, a chunky 16-inch tire and a reshaped LED tail lamp. Each model also has an air-cooled Evolution 1200cc engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection, wider fork space and a 4.5 gallon fuel tank.
With the 1200 Custom, Harley also has introduced its H-D1 factory customization, which offers personalization in seven option categories for fit, function and style. Customers can visit www.harley-davidson.com, customize the 1200 to their liking, print a description of the desired motorcycle and bring it to a dealership to place an order. Bikes may be delivered in as little as four weeks, but delivery will vary by demand.
Before customization, the bike has an MSRP of $10,299.
