Customers differ on the best source for product info

Powersports Business’ biweekly poll revealed customers differ considerably in their opinions of what’s the most useful source for product information.

While dealerships’ Web sites came in first by a wide margin, 43.5 percent, the rest of the sources were split fairly evenly.

    Magazine/article guide….11.3%
    Display at show/rally….1.6%
    Product brochure….1.6%
    Friends/relatives….6.5%
    Dealer personnel….1.6%
    Manufacturer Web site….17.7%
    Advertisement….1.6%
    Other….14.5%
