Piaggio changes its Canadian distribution system

The Piaggio Group is making a change in its distribution, switching its Canadian business to its U.S. subsidiary.

Piaggio Group Americas Inc. will develop and support a Canadian dealer network.
Piaggio formerly worked through the Canadian Scooter Corporation. The manufacturer is asking all dealers who had previously worked with the Canadian Scooter Corporation to submit warranty claims and new warranty registrations to Piaggio Group Americas.

A Piaggio press release said the company expects to have new Canadian dealer agreements no later than January and a fully operational sales and service system in place by February.
