S&S Cycle to expand into a new parts and accessory segment
CINCINNATI — V-twin engine and component manufacturer S&S Cycle is broadening its parts business into the UTV market, CEO George Smith told Powersports Business.
Smith was on hand for the V-Twin Expo, an annual show that drew close to 400 aftermarket companies and manufacturers to Cincinnati’s Duke Energy Center from Feb. 6-9.
Smith said S&S Cycle will showcase some of its new kits for Polaris’ RZR at the upcoming Dealer Expo in Indianapolis.
The LaCrosse, Wis.-based manufacturer is expanding its parts business partly in response to a weakening in the custom V-twin industry. S&S Cycle has been a major engine supplier to many of that segment’s largest manufacturers.
