Big Dog Motorcycles diversifies its 2008 lineup
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Big Dog Motorcycles, the custom V-twin manufacturer, showed off two new models to its dealer network Wednesday, including a lower price point offering.
The new 2008 Mutt, with its 117-cubic inch engine, is the first Big Dog bike to carry a MSRP under $25,000 that the company has offered recently.
The lower price point is part of the company’s effort at diversifying its model lineup, said Big Dog founder and CEO Sheldon Coleman.
“Over time our lineup had gotten a little compressed, both in style and price points,” Coleman said.
