Lehman to expand South Dakota facilities
Lehman Trikes Inc. is expanding its U.S. manufacturing facilities in Spearfish, S.D.
The expansion plan includes a 17,500 square foot addition to the current manufacturing facility, which will provide increased warehouse and production line space. Since this increased footage to the original building will not accommodate all of the expanding U.S. operations, Lehman is also establishing a technology center, located just two blocks away from the Spearfish factory. This 11,700 square foot building, which the company will lease, will be the new home of the administration and marketing department, along with an expansion of engineering and providing office staff.
“These accommodations are necessary for our new and expanding product lines,” said Daniel Patterson, president of Lehman Trikes.
Lehman recently agreed to provide trikes to Harley-Davidson. The company already has similar agreements with Suzuki and Victory.
