Canadian dealership supplies security UTVs for 44th G7 Summit

When seven of the world’s most prominent leaders meet in La Malbaie, Quebec June 8-9 for the 44th G7 Summit, the security forces on hand to secure the area will be helped by UTVs from Spectra Power Sports, according to a report from The Williams Lake Tribune.

In March, the Williams Lake, British Columbia-based dealership secured a contract to send 20 UTV security vehicles — Polaris Ranger crew cabs — across the country for use by the RCMP and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service at the summit.

“It’s just cool to be included in this — the G7 Summit rarely happens in Canada,” SPS owner Heino Seibert told The Williams Lake Tribune. “We’ve now done the Olympics and 100 vehicles supplied, and this. You can’t really get bigger than that.”
