Auto group buys Dubuque dealership

Mike McGrath will take over as president of the former Dubuque Harley-Davidson on September 30, according to an article in the Dubuque Telegraph Herald.

Dubuque Harley-Davidson had been under the ownership of Virgil Schulenburg since 2009. Schulenberg’s final day of ownership will be September 26 and the dealership will reopen under the new name McGrath Dubuque Harley-Davidson.

McGrath commented on the purchase, “We believe there are opportunities for growth in every department of the store,” and that current employees will have the option to continue working at the dealership.
