Kolpin Acquires DirtWorks
Kolpin Powersports, Inc., Fox Lake, Wisc., has acquired ATV accessory manufacturer DirtWorks. The arrangement takes effect immediately and includes all of DirtWorks products, which will now be sold as Kolpin Powersports’ DirtWorks Series. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
DirtWorks is perhaps best known for its three-point hitch system, which attaches to the front or back of utility vehicles, garden tractors or ATVs. Kolpin says the attachment system combined with its numerous implements – blade, box scraper, cultivator, forklift, landscape rake and disc – is an important addition to its list of ATVs and accessories.
“Their innovative features and robust quality fit our product strategy well and complete the circle in offering a full range of ATV accessory products for all outdoor and work activities,” Tom Lutes, president of Kolpin Powersports, said of DirtWorks. “The overall growth in this category, coupled with our strong brand and distribution, will provide continued momentum for Kolpin and its wholesale and retail partners.”
Kolpin Powersports, Inc., offers Kolpin branded ATVs and ATV accessories with patented innovations in gun boot cases, stealth exhaust systems, fuel and water packs, carriers, luggage and other accessory items.
