Governor’s request leads to voluntary closure of dealerships
Some powersports dealerships in one state are beginning St. Patrick’s Day with the idea of not making much in the way of green for the foreseeable future, according to posts on social media.
Longtime Powersports Business Power 50 dealership Mosites Motorsports in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, posted an Instagram message to customers Monday night that as “per direction given by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf regarding the closure of non-essential business: We will be closed to the public until further notice; however we will be accessible by phone during modified business hours in an effort to accommodate our customers with their powersports needs.”
The dealership carries Ducati, Triumph, Can-Am, Spyder, Kawasaki, Honda, Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and BMW.
Kissel Motorsports in Tyrone posted this message on its Facebook:
“Due to Governor Wolf’s request for voluntary non-essential business closures, we are limiting our business to online and phone transactions only. The showroom will be closed until further notice. We will be responding to emails, sales leads and phone calls in our normal fashion.
