Motus reveals 2014 production models
Using Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca as its backdrop, Motus unveiled its 2014 production models to the public last weekend.
The lineup includes two models, the MST and MSTR, both backed by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. Each is powered by a 1,650cc liquid-cooled V4 motor, with the MST offering 160 bhp, and the MSTR clocking in at 180 bhp. Both bikes include six-speed dual-overdrive transmission, electronic fuel injection, electronic throttle control, removable side cases and more. The MSTR offers premium features such as three Powerlet ports (compared to the MST’s one), BST premium carbon fiber wheels and Ohlins suspension front and rear (the MST has Ohlins in the front and Progressive rear suspension). Optional equipment for both includes a 30-liter top case, mid- and full-tour windscreens, a heated seat, heated grips and a premium low seat by Sargent.
The MSTR is available in Strong White or Carbon Black, while the MST comes in Speed Silver Metallic or Flame Red Metallic. The MST starts at $30,975.
Motus currently has a dealer network of 16 and is looking to fill holes in Southern California, the Midwest and the Northeast. The bikes will ship to dealers this fall, with customers making reservations now.
