Yamaha Motor Canada appoints new director of marine business division
Yamaha Motor Canada has appointed Connor Megan as the new director of its marine business division, effective immediately.

Megan brings 10 years of experience with Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, to the position. Most recently, he served as pro staff and sponsorship supervisor, where he was responsible for sponsorship initiatives and consumer engagement programs.
In his new role, Megan will oversee Yamaha Motor Canada’s marine business, including strategic planning and initiatives aimed at supporting sales, profitability and growth across the company’s marine portfolio.
“Connor’s industry experience, passion for the marine business, and relationship-focused approach will make him a valuable addition to our team and dealer network,” says Chris Hawkins, Yamaha Motor Canada’s general manager, sales, operations and strategy.
Megan said his initial priorities will include strengthening relationships with Yamaha’s Canadian dealer network and industry partners, while working with Yamaha teams in Canada and the U.S. to share best practices.
“Canada is an important market with tremendous opportunity,” Megan adds. “My focus will be on learning the business, strengthening relationships across the dealer network and industry, and working closely with our teams in Canada and the U.S. to share best practices and support long-term success.”
Megan also said he intends to build trust with dealers and industry partners through consistency, transparency and follow-through as he takes on leadership of Yamaha’s Canadian marine business.
